The Ministry of Interior carried out the death sentence of four Pakistani men found guilty of rape, theft, and murder on Thursday.

Liaqat Hussain Ishaq Hussain, Sajid Ali Asqar Ali, Mohammed Thaqib Mohammed Al-Warth Ali and Faisal Mounir Munir Hussain broke into a house in Riyadh with the intention of robbery, the ministry said in a statement to Saudi Press Agency.

The men attacked the family living on the third floor of a building in Riyadh. They tied the son up before raping and killing the woman according to a statement by the ministry.

An investigation led to the indictment of the group and they were referred to the criminal court. They were found guilty by the court, which issued the death sentence. The decision was later supported by rulings in the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court leading to a royal order for the executions. The execution was carried out on Thursday.

The Ministry of the Interior announced that it affirms the keenness of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to maintain security, achieve justice and implement the provisions of God.
