It is confirmed that Muslims in Saudi Arabia will welcome the Holy month of Ramadan on Wednesday. In an announcement made by the Supreme court of Saudi Arabia, it is sure now that the holy fasting month will not start tomorrow.
The Ramadan crescent was not sighted this evening. In parts of the kingdom, the chances of sighting the moon were low because of a sandstorm that obscured the skies. Tuesday is the thirtieth day for the month of Sha’aban.
This year, Ramadan will begin on the evening of Tuesday, 9 July. Wednesday will be the first day of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, the UAE, Oman, and Bahrain.
