Nazaha commissionThe National Commission against Corruption (Nazaha) has revealed that it monitored a Saudi ambassador abroad who established his own office to offer services for Hajj and Umrah visas at a rate of EUR 150 (SR 774) for each visa.

The case has been under investigation for the past two years under the supervision of the Investigation and Supervision Board. The Commission stressed that a disregard in implementing principles of accountability has led to an increase in corruption and other irregularities.

The Commission failed to receive a response to their requests to ministers and heads of certain independent bodies regarding investigation of corruption and imposition of penalties, reported Akhbaar24.
