Israeli trucks, carrying humanitarian suThe Customs Authorities in the city of Batha successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle close to 4,500 bottles of liquor into Saudi Arabia.

In a statement given to the press on Sunday, the Custom Authorities seized 4,439 bottles of liquor after it was found stored inside plastic pipes. The General Director of Al-Batha Customs, Ibrahim Al-Anzi, stated that the Customs Control observer found the alcohol stashed in plastic pipes in a truck’s shipment, reported Al Arabiya news.

A few days back, the customs foiled a similar smuggling attempt when authorities found 17,000 bottles of liquor stashed in a shipment of imported fruits.
