Philstar reported that the services to be offered during the 2-day EOW will include passport renewals, notarials and authentication of documents, birth registrations, and consular certifications.
Regular passport renewal applicants would have to obtain an appointment schedule through the Embassy’s website, www.philembassy-riyadh.org. Applicants are to bring their original passports and photocopy of the data page of the passport. Applicants for other consular services don’t need an appointment and are also advised to bring the original and photocopy of the documents.
The EOW Team will also process travel documents, passport renewal/extensions and lost passports for irregular Filipino workers who are covered by the ongoing ‘nitaqat’ grace period of the Saudi government.
Filipino workers with an irregular status who are applying for travel documents are to bring a photocopy of their last passport or any Philippine ID. Those applying for lost passport services must bring a copy of the passport that was lost, or at least be prepared to present the passport number.
The EOW will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 13 (Thursday) and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on June 14 (Friday). For further queries, emails may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org or authorities maybe contacted at 011-4823816. (DFA PISU)
