Nineteen different centers were allocated by the Saudi Post Corporation in Jeddah and Makkah to distribute the free tickets for the opening ceremony and the finals of the Two Holy Mosques football championship. Each of these centers experienced a huge rush, reported Al Arabiya news. Sources said that a number of Saudi Post offices suffered damages including cracked glass doors and panels. At some places, there were altercations between the public and the staff who were trying to control the crowd. The tickets are given away for free on a first-come-first-serve basis. Each person is entitled to one ticket, which is given up on presenting their ID number, residency number for residents, and family cards for children.
The tickets were distributed at 19 different centers in Jeddah and Makkah. In Jeddah, the allocated centers are Almsaeidih, Alnazla, Aljawhara, Khalidiya, Alsalama, Altahliya, the University district, Alsharfiya, Khalid bin Waleed, Almahjar, University City, Nazha, Bawadi, Mashrafa District.
