A Land Cruiser fell off Khurais Bridge down onto another vehicle today afternoon in Riyadh at the Eastern Circle road in Exit 13.
The Director of the Traffic Command and Control Center of Riyadh, Col. Hassan Al-Hassan, said that the accident happened around 11am today and resulted in 10 injuries. Fortunately no deaths were reported.
A Bangladeshi national was reportedly driving the vehicle, accompanied by a woman and six other people when the SUV overturned on the bridge and landed on top of another car, local newspapers reported.
The car was driven by a Pakistani national accompanied by two others passengers. All sustained mild injuries. 2 other vehicles were also affected by the accident.
The injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. After initial investigation it was acknowledged that the error was on the part of the Land Cruiser driver for his lack of control and failure to take caution while driving.
