Last Sunday, 12 talented artists participated in the first volume of Pecha Kucha Night, Riyadh. The night of creativity was hosted at the newly opened contemporary gallery- Alaan Artspace .
PechaKucha 20×20 is a simple presentation format wherein the speaker shows 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and the speaker talks along. The concept was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for creative artists and designers to meet, network, and show their work in public. Since then it has turned into a massive celebration, with events happening in hundreds of cities across the globe.
