Saudi Arabia’s Al Haramain high-speed train began trips on Thursday, 11 October, with 4 weekly journeys from Thursday to Sunday.

The number of trips will increase gradually over the coming period and will comprise Makkah, Medina, Jeddah, and King Abdullah Economic City, and Madinah.

The ticket rate for the journey between the two passenger stations in Jeddah and Makkah has been priced at SAR40 in the regular class and SAR50 in business class.

The round trip between Makkah and Madinah will cost SAR150 in regular class and SAR250 in business class.
