Under the guidance of the Mayor of Riyadh Region, Engr Abdullah Bin Abdulrahman Al-Muqbil, the Riyadh Municipality and the General Directorate of Sanitation have made arrangements to provide a healthy environment for the residents of Riyadh during the Eid Al-Adha holidays.

The municipality has intensified its work at sheep markets, slaughtering locations, Eid prayer grounds, and public parks. About 8,500 personnel comprising supervisors, drivers, and workers have been designated to keep the streets of Riyadh clean. More than 1,400 cleaning trucks have been allotted to the cleaning teams.

In additional efforts to maintain cleanliness, the municipality will distribute awareness kits to park visitors and picnickers. The kit will consist of brochures emphasizing against littering and about keeping  one’s surroundings clean. Garbage bags to dispose trash are also a part of the kit.

Furthermore, the municipality has a dedicated emergency line (940) for the public to report observations regarding municipal services.
