A newly released list by Foreign Policy Magazine placed Riyadh at No.29  of the World’s most dynamic cities by 2025.  Foreign Policy is the premier, award-winning magazine of global politics, economics, and ideas.

The list features 75 powerhouses of the coming urban revolution, put together  by FP in partnership with the McKinsey Global Institute.

3 cities from China , namely Shanghai, Beijing and Tianjin took the first 3 spots. New York was at No.7 and Moscow at No.9.

Riyadh, at No.29,  seems to  be the most promising city in the Middle East. Other GCC cities include Doha at No.33 , Kuwait city at No.45  and Abudhabi at No.65. Surprisingly, Dubai features nowhere in the list.

Riyadh is expected to have a GDP of 325.6 billion US dollars by 2025, which is a growth of 165%.
