drugs and liquorThe Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in Riyadh arrested a Saudi government employee for selling drugs in a government car on Monday.

The civil servant was caught red-handed selling drugs and alcohol during an undercover operation conducted by the Saudi religious police in Saudi Arabia’s capital city.

A Hai’a undercover agent contacted the unnamed employee for buying liquor and hashish, reported local Arabic dailies. The Hai’a agent arranged to meet the man in Riyadh. Other Hai’a members came and arrested the man once the agent paid for his drugs.

The religious police agents found drugs, a small weighing scale for measuring drugs, bottles of alcohol and a gun in the man’s car. The man was later transferred to the concerned authorities for further legal action.
