Saudi Press Agency said today that expatriate workers violating labor and residency laws will get three months to correct their situation and prevent deportation.

The King gave instructions to the  Ministry of Interior and Ministry of Labor to give foreign workers a chance to rectify their illegal status within a period of three months after which  legal action will be taken against them.

This is welcome news for both expatriates and native businessmen as businesses had begun to be affected by the recent raids carried out by labor officials in a campaign against illegal workers in the Kingdom.
