Prince Abdullah Bin Musaed has bought 50 percent of the Sheffield United Football Club in England, according to BBC news. Prince Abdullah is now the co-owner of the club, which is more popularly known as The Blades.
The owner of Sheffield United, Kevin McCabe said, “We’ve been looking for partner investors for six years and this is fantastic,” when he revealed that he sold a 50 percent stake in the club to the Saudi prince. “This is game-changing for this club and the funds being invested in the team are substantial,” said McCabe to BBC Radio Sheffield.
The Saudi prince, a prominent businessman and industrialist, is also a football enthusiast. He is an honor member of Al-Hilal, Saudi Arabia’s most successful football club.
