Saudi students forced to write university exam sitting on floorStudents appearing for their university exam at King Faisal University, Al Ahsa on Monday were in for a bad surprise when they were asked to sit down on the floor to write their exams, reported Akhbaar24 news.

The students were reportedly late in entering the exam hall and school authorities refused to open the doors and disturb the other students who were already inside. So they were told to sit on the floor and answer the exam questions.

A number of students reported that their exam was scheduled from 1 PM to 3 PM, but no exam rooms were allotted for over 100 students. Attempts to find a proper exam hall went futile, but not a surprise considering the poor planning from the authorities’ side. The students informed that the authorities spent over half an hour in search of a suitable exam hall.

The students were then surprised by the decision taken by the staff – to make the students write their exams sitting on the floor of the entrance of the college. While the students acquiesced to the faculty’s orders and wrote their exam, they demanded that the university formally apologize to them over the shameful incident.
