The world’s most luxurious hotel is offering couples a new and unique way to take their wedding vows – at the helipad of the Burj Al Arab, with the Arabian Gulf as the backdrop.
The luxury wedding package includes accommodation at one of the suites in the hotel to wedding cake designing and private tasting sessions with award-winning chefs. The bride and the groom even have options to make a grand entrance at their wedding – by road in a Rolls Royce or by air in an Italia twin engine Augusta.
This unique nuptial comes at an expense of Dh200,000. At this hefty price tag, the bride and groom are pampered with access to personal stylists and exquisite spa and relaxation sessions and even a specially designed wedding scent. Besides, the couple can also avail dance and etiquette lessons. There is a wedding architect who is available round the clock to plan and customize the ‘over the top’ wedding according to the couples’ likings, reported Gulf News.
The Burj Al Arab helipad has hosted many unique events in the past, such as Roger Federer and Andre Agassi playing a game of tennis in 2005 atop the helipad, and Tiger Woods teeing off the helipad in 2004. The latest was when F1 champ David Coulthard performed donuts 60 floors above the ground late last year.
