Al Rajhi Bank of Saudi Arabia has issued a warning to its customers of a virus attack on its systems, including a fake banking application on Android devices. The bank earlier noticed some fraudulent operations on their affected systems, thus urging customers to take precaution, reported Sabq news.
The virus shows “mToken” field in pages that is similar to the banking login page. Customers have been warned against logging into these fake sites. The bank has also urged its customers against giving out any confidential information and to immediately report of any suspicious or fraudulent transactions to the bank.
Additionally, customers have been cautioned against responding to messages from the bank that ask for customers’ phone numbers bank card number, and PIN codes as online applications of Al-Rajhi Bank do not require confidential customer information for conducting transactions.
